ডিএসসিসি মেয়র বলেন, 'আমাদের নেত্রী ঘোষণা দিয়েছেন,দেশে পর্যাপ্ত পরিমাণের খাদ্যসামগ্রী রয়েছে। ভয় পাওয়ার কোনও কারণ নেই। শুধু একটি বিষয় আপনাদের বারবার বলছি আপনারা ঘরে থাকুন, ঘরে থাকুন এবং ঘরে থাকুন। আপনাদের সতর্কতা আপনার এবং আপনার প্রিয়জনকে রক্ষা করতে পারে। শেখ হাসিনা আপনাদের সঙ্গে আছে। তার সৈনিক হিসেবে আমরা জীবনের ঝুঁকি নিয়ে হলেও আমরা রাজপথে আছি এবং থাকবো।
